Jeff Goodman - Owner/President - Ashland NE - Born and raised in Nebraska, Jeff’s background began in custom home building working out of his truck. Since the age of 15, Jeff became successful providing homes in rural acreage areas for a select group of customers looking for an alternative to the standard home design and building options available at that time.
In 2008 Jeff moved into the agricultural building and equipment industry. Using his college background in engineering, he began to design and construct countless state of the art facilities that fit the needs of the customer. While finding great success with customers looking for quality buildings at a price they could afford, Jeff continued to work tirelessly to pursue alternative ways to increase value by providing cost savings and value-added ideas that would help customers improve their bottom line significantly. During this process Jeff vowed to never waiver from the standards and quality workmanship that he and the Goodman Classic brand stood for. This ultimately laid the groundwork for what would become the Goodman Classic we have come to know today.
In 2012, Jeff and his wife, Jen, were expecting their second child. Wanting to model independence and a strong work ethic to his children, Jeff started Goodman Classic the day his daughter was born. From his humble beginnings as a rural home builder to a thriving and respected Agricultural building, equipment and service provider, Jeff and his company Goodman Classic Buildings and Equipment have grown to become a major player in the Livestock Industry. He has grown the business from working out of his truck, into two brick and mortar businesses with a construction and equipment location in Ashland, Nebraska and a retail location in Storm Lake, Iowa. Jeff has since added his brother Paul, Cousin Kody, extended family member Kyle and several others to his growing staff.
When not at job sites or the office, Jeff can be found somewhere on the water, at the dirt circle track, or relaxing with his family along the Platte River.
